<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Here's instructions on how NOT to
pray - praying for a show - or pretense is not God's idea of praying - He's not
in it for the SHOW - He's the REAL DEAL and wants us to be REAL too! Today
October 31, many get dressed up and PRETEND to be something they are not -
while it is fun in the natural realm - let us understand that it is one of the
things God's HATES as we approach HIM - Flip side is HE LOVES it when we come
to HIM in sincerity and truth! So let's not play church with God as there's no
fooling HIM anyway! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and
prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so
it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my
Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the
Father, save the Son, and </span><i><span style="color: grey; font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">[he]</span></i><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> to whomsoever the Son will reveal </span><i><span style="color: grey; font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">[him]</span></i><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">. <div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">In Luke this passage is connected
with the return of Jesus disciples after He had sent them out two by two - to
heal the sick and raise the dead and cast out demons and preach the gospel. He
then goes on to call the weary workers to enjoy HIS REST - for HIS yoke
is easy and HIS burden is light - when the burden gets heavy and the days are
dreary - stop and think that - HIS yoke is EASY - and HIS burden is light- the
heavy ones are the ones of our own making! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Here is the Lord's prayer from the
Message Bible:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="color: teal; font-family: "Arial",sans-serif;">Mat 6:5</span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> "And when you come before God, don't turn that into a
theatrical production either. All these people making a regular show out of
their prayers, hoping for stardom! Do you think God sits in a box seat? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you
won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly
as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to
sense his grace. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are
prayer-ignorant. They're full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling
techniques for getting what you want from God. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Don't fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing
with, and he knows better than you what you need. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply. Like
this: Our Father in heaven, Reveal who you are. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Set the world right; Do what's best-- as above, so below. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you
and forgiving others. Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You're in
charge! You can do anything you want! You're ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Notice the emphasis on being REAL
when we come to our Father! All He longs for is relationship with us - it is
NOT complicated - WE make it complicated - if you have or had a Father that you
could talk to and bring your needs to it is easier to understand this. But even
if you did not - GOD is a KIND and GOOD and LOVING and MERCIFUL - Father that
is just longing to hear how our day went and how we want/need His involvement
in our living! I've had people tell me that they don't like to pray out loud because they cannot pray like someone else! That's just our pride getting in the way. Father God LOVES to hear us pray! Do not let any tricks or lies of the enemy keep you from prayer (communicating) with God! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">

thought! Those 2 little words "AS WE" - however you look at there's a
connection - we must FORGIVE all trespasses against us - another verse tells if
that if we will not forgive those around us neither will God forgive us!
Unforgiveness is as deadly as cancer! Forgiveness is HEALTH to our whole
being. Forgiving someone does not release them from the guilt of wrong-doing
nor does it say "it's ok to treat me badly" but it does release US
from sin's grip! And it clears the way for our prayers to be heard and answered! Having trouble getting answers to your prayers? Checkup - do I have any unforgiveness in my heart? If so, we can take it to the cross and leave it there! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

In the wilderness when the Israelites were fed with Manna from heaven - they
were only allowed to collect enough for the DAY! Not for tomorrow except before
the Sabbath - there was no manna sent on the Sabbath - what they collected the
day before was 2 portions to last them through the Sabbath. Sometimes we are so
concerned about the future and what we perceive to be future obstacles and
needs - but all we're promised is for TODAY! But TODAY we are promised ALL of
heaven's resources that we may need. ASK away! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

tend to jump right in with OUR needs way before any other thing crosses our
minds. This prayer Jesus gave us as "pattern" to help us guide us in
our praying - Since it's HIS idea - it might be good for us to apply it as we pray
- often people question why they (seemingly) see so few prayers answered - well
let's examine our praying and see if we're following the pattern that JESUS
HIMSELF gave us to follow! Lord, TEACH us to pray! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">"Thy will be done in
earth" --- God has desires and plans and a WILL that needs to be
accomplished IN earth! How can this happen without us? HE needs us as HIS hands
and feet and mouthpieces and ears ....etc. to accomplish HIS will in earth. Often we are so consumed with OUR needs, wants, wishes agenda, that we do not even consider what God's ideas might be as they relate to ourselves. Today let us place ourselves at HIS disposal for HIS will to be done in the
earth we live in.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">"Thy Kingdom come." - We
belong to a heavenly kingdom - we are not of this world - clearly as we look
around us and hear and see the "doings" of mankind we can heartily
pray "Thy kingdom come"!!! But not only do we pray for God's Kingdom
to ultimately come to earth - but we pray for God's Kingdom to be set up and
established in our hearts here and now! Notice it does not say "my kingdom come" ;-). Prayer is first and foremost about GOD and HIS KINGDOM! Our needs, wants, wishes are not even mentioned until later. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
