WHO I AM IN CHRIST!

I am not under the law

Galatians 5:18

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

The law was our school teacher - Paul says in another verse - without it we would not know right from wrong - but once we invited Christ and His Holy Spirit to live inside us it set us free from the law of sin and death - the law we could not keep so it brought us - DEATH! - The Holy Spirit writes the commandments in our hearts and enables and empowers us to live the law from a heart of love and so it brings us LIFE! Hallelujah for the CROSS!!

This verse is abused by those who do not allow God's Spirit to enable and empower them. It is used as an excuse to live any sinful way they choose! As Paul also said: God FORBID - that we should use our freedom as an excuse for wickedness!
