WHO I AM IN CHRIST!

I am an heir of God a joint heir with Jesus Christ

Galatians 4:7

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The Israelites were slaves in Egypt for many years and the Bible tells us they "SOON" forgot the miraculous deliverance and chose to remember the variety of food they enjoyed. We are also told that these things were written so that WE would not make the same mistake but would REMEMBER the slavery! We were not just slaves to some one we were slaves to the DEVIL and SIN! With no power to free ourselves! May God help us to never look back with longing to the days of our slavery - but rather keep our eyes focused on our GREAT DELIVERER who came to "set us free"! HALLELUJAH! It doesn't even stop there - then making us "joint heirs" with Jesus Christ! whew! try to process that as you go out into your day!
