WHO I AM IN CHRIST!

I am one who has joy

Galatians 5:22

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy.....

John 15:11

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

FULL JOY! There is a neat old story (allegory) about "Widow Full Joy" and her neighbor Adam Slowman. Widow Full Joy lived on "Expectation Corner" always expecting her Father's provisions and always receiving them - while Adam Slowman right next door lived on "Lamentation Lane". His water pipes were clogged, his well did not work and his place was in a general state of shambles! Widow Full Joy was always receiving more and more and Adam Slowman never could quite figure out why she was so specially favored - but she lived on "expectation corner" always expecting her Father's provision and consequently always receiving it! While Adam was always lamenting his poor estate. You get the picture!?

Full Joy sounds great - but are we willing to do the believing and receiving in order to possess FULL JOY! HE's provided it - the rest is up to us!
