The Promises of God:

Matthew 6:26,30,31,32

I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things".

GOD is our PROVIDER! Since we live in a country that is bountiful and live like kings and queens in comparison to the rest of the world - it is hard for us to understand and see God as our PROVIDER! However, that doesn't change the truth - as James says, EVERY good and perfect gift comes from GOD! Hebrews tells us HE upholds ALL things - so basically HE IS THE PROVIDER! (not us!) :-) It's HIS promise not our wishful thinking! So rest in HIS PROVISION for today! (and every day)
