The Promises of God:

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour" (Isaiah 43:2, 3).

"I will fear no evil for Thou art with me"...... somehow we have the idea that the promises of God will keep us from ever passing through the waters and rivers....or walking through the fire.... notice the promise is that HE WILL BE THERE! If you've lived through any of that "stuff" you already know it's TRUE! Hallelujah!
