The Promises of God:
"Then spake Jesus again unto
them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the light of life" (John 8:12).
Although we walk in the midst of
darkness we still walk in the LIGHT - because JESUS is the LIGHT! Think of how
we are attracted to the light - how many great speeches include references to
lighting a candle or points of light - the Olympics ignite a torch to begin the
games - there is no other light that compares to the "Light of the
World" - JESUS! When we feel the darkness pressing in around us - let's
remember this promise and allow HIM to shine in us and through us!
