 The Promises of God:

"He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness" (Psalm 107:9).

Here again we see that it is our longing, our hunger and thirst that gets satisfied. We have so much that we seldom experience real hunger and thirst or real longing for anything. It is a constant effort to keep ourselves reminded that only as we HUNGER and THIRST for righteousness will we be filled! Let's ask HIM for an increase in our desire today - no need to worry about calories in this category!
