The Promises of God:

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (1John 5:14-15).

It's not my word - it's HIS! "Anything according to His will" - some people stop after the word "anything" :-) As we line ourselves up with HIS HEART of love it is not so hard to know "what is according to HIS will" -- HE is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance! The call to His disciples was "follow Me and I will make you fishers of men" - the "great commission" - go ye into all the world .... preach ... teach ... baptize!" Jesus told His disciples to pray the Lord of the harvest for laborers to gather the harvest [of souls] Jesus was dismayed that the laborers were few! - GOD is willing - that not ONE should perish! The news media have it backwards - their question is always "HOW could a loving God allow .......???" HE IS NOT WILLING that ONE should perish!!!! We need to KNOW whom we have believed and know HIS heart!

Isn't it the worst - when your own family or some close friend misses what your heart is on something? When they believe something about us that they should have KNOWN from knowing us could not be true! ?? You see how GOD must feel when we do that to HIM! AND He's given ALL - poured out His heart for us all to see plainly on Calvary! May God help us today to get more in line with HIS GREAT HEART OF LOVE!
