The Promises of God:

"In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people" (Isaiah 28:5).

You're my Glory, and the Lifter of my head

You're my Glory, and the Lifter of my head

For Thou, O Lord are a Shield for me

My Glory and the Lifter of my head.

When the terror of the enemy

Seems to rise all around me

Still I will not be afraid

For there is One greater

My Shield, My Defender

And He will stand beside me 'till that day.

I see so many people shuffling along through their daily life with their heads drooping low and that hopeless expression in their eyes! The next time the enemy tries to get you to hang you head and shuffle through your day - REMEMBER - HE is the GLORY and the LIFTER of your head! We are royalty - Kings and Queens unto our God - you cannot wear the crown and droop your head - it doesn't work! :-) Walk like royalty - head up - eyes bright - back straight! It makes people stop and wonder what or who you know! :-)
