The Promises of God:

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" (James 1:5).

Notice it does not mention wishing or whining - but rather - direct asking resulting in direct receiving! No middle man - no God getting tired of hearing our requests - but an extravagant generous God willing and wanting to share HIS Divine wisdom and understanding with anyone who will take the time to ask Him for it! Hallelujah!
