The Promises of God:

In that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted" (Hebrews 2:18).

Another verse tells us HE was tempted in ALL points just like we are - yet HE remained with out sin! It should give us hope! We have a resource even when we are sorely tempted - Don't try to make it on your own - seek the support and prayer of other believers - it is where our faith is STRENGTHENED!
