The Promises of God:

"I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles" (Isaiah 42:6).

Sometimes that is all we need - someone to take us by the hand and tell us they will be with us through the ordeal and that we will be ok. Somehow God knew that we would need that before we even did! Let's make sure we turn to HIM in our troubles not away from HIM - HIS promises are good HE will remain by our side holding our hand through it all!
