Thanksgiving

Psalm 100 - A Psalm of Thanksgiving
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Here again it mentions to come before His presence with singing! I don't think the Psalmist means we should wait until we get to church sing either! Sing your way through the day! There is something about singing that lifts your spirits and lightens your heart. I have a co-worker that often sings as she goes about her work. It is a blessing!
The Psalmist goes on to tell us why we have something to sing about! Our Creator has owned and cares for us as a shepherd does his sheep! Mind boggling for sure - and certainly great cause for jubilant singing!

Happy Thanksgiving!
