The Promises of God:
"LORD, it is nothing with thee
to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power" (2 Chronicles
14:11).
This is from an attack from
Ethiopia against Asa King of Judah - Ethiopia came with an army of over a
million and Judah had an army of less than 1/2 that size - Asa cried out to God
- numbers don't matter with you! You are the God of angel armies! And God
fought with them and for them and Ethiopia was overturned. Again just another
natural illustration for us - we are not fighting actual physical battles - but
the war for our hearts and minds rages daily! As well as the battle for the
souls of men. We do not fight alone and though we may feel like a
"few" up against so many with the odds against us - "IF God be
for us - WHO can be against us!? He who spared not His own Son, but delivered
Him up for us all .... shall He not also freely give us all things!? He shall -
He will - He did! HALLELUJAH!!! What a Savior!
