The Promises of God:

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11).

This is the way we need to speak to ourselves rather than beating ourselves up and agreeing to the lies of the devil! Find a scripture that will encourage your heart and speak it out loud when the evil one comes and fills your mind with destructive and negative thoughts - Even Jesus had to speak the word out loud in order to fight the attacks of the enemy. And reach out and encourage someone else too - it's amazing how much that helps encourage our own hearts!
